Famous Tim #11 – Tim Meadows

Tim Meadows is one of a slew of great comedians who was shaped by The Second City.  Mr. Meadows held the record for longest tenure by any Saturday Night Live cast member (1991-2000) until it was broke by Darrell Hammond in 2005.

2006 is up and rolling.

Photos – 2005

I’m re-designing the photo section to TimothyStout.com.  So far I am done with 2005.  2006-2010 to come shortly.

Phish in Three Dimensions

That’s right folks.  The Phish are coming to a theater near you with Phish3D, a 2+ hour highlight session from Festival 8.  Here’s a sneak peak (not in 3D) of the fellas (and a couple of talented ladies) shredding the Rollin Stones classic, Loving Cup.

The movie starts on April 30th and will run for one week and is showing locally at the Living Room Theater in downtown Portland.

Happy Birthday to my One & Only

I took Rhiannon (and the two furballs) up to Mt. Hood for four nights over this past weekend for her birthday.  It was a much needed get-away for the both of us.  We hot tubbed.  We hiked to Mirror Lake, Little Zig Zag Falls, and along the Salmon River Trail.  We laid lazily in the cozy cabin and watched NBA playoffs (Go Blazers!) and played Trivial Pursuit.  We went to El Burro Loco for Mexican food… twice.  We had a lovely birthday dinner at Timberline Lodge.  We went “sledding” at Snow Bunny.  It was the best time I’ve had in a while.  I love you, Rhiannon.

A Robot Walks Into a Bar

My directorial debut.

Famous Tim #10 – Tim Tams

Tim Tams, the delicious Australian choclate biscuits, are God’s gift to somebody.  I know it’s not me because they are not common in the States (in fact the only place I’ve ever seen them were in an international shop in Boulder, Colorado a few years back).  They are incredibly good.

Check their Wikipedia page here.

And, they were named after Famous Tim #9.

Famous Tim #9 – Tim Tam

Tim Tam was a great thoroughbred racing horse of even greater pedigree.  In 1958, as a 3-year-old, Tim Tam won both the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness, 2/3 of the fabled Triple Crown.  His career was cut short but he managed to sire a Hall of Fame filly (Tosmah), passing on the Hall of Fame genes frum which he sprung (both of his parents are Hall of Famers).

Chewbacca Does the Running Man

Priceless.

No Wolves Allowed
